My approach to new challenges is with curiosity, empathy, and an open mind.
I am a curious soul who believes that design is about finding solutions rather than invent them. To solve problems effectively, I emphasize the need to first observe and understand the world and its challenges. This philosophy shapes my approach to design, which is characterized by curiosity, empathy, and an open mind.
Originally from the Philippines, I spent my first seven years there before moving to Norway, where I have resided since. My educational journey in design began with media and communication studies at Åssiden Upper Secondary School, followed by a year of exploring psychology at the University of Oslo. In 2022, I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Visual Communication from the University of South-Eastern Norway and immediately embarked on my professional career as a designer.
With over two years of experience as a UI/UX designer, I greatly value my diverse educational background. This background has provided me with a solid theoretical foundation, offering valuable insights into strategic design, visual identity, and user behavior and psychology—all essential elements of my design practice.
Outside of work, travel photography is a profound passion of mine, serving as my primary creative outlet alongside design. I am captivated by the art of visual storytelling and the ability to capture fleeting moments. For me, traveling and photography are inseparable pursuits. As a designer, I firmly believe in the importance of exploring and learning from the world to broaden one's horizons and perspectives. To truly understand and appreciate the world, one must experience it firsthand. Immersing myself in different cultures and environments fuels my soul, knowledge, and creativity.
