My approach to new challenges is with curiosity, empathy, and an open mind.

I am a curious soul who believes that design is about finding solutions rather than invent them. To solve problems effectively, I emphasise the need to first observe and understand people, the world and its challenges. This philosophy shapes my approach to design, which is characterized by curiosity, empathy, and an open mind.

Originally from the Philippines, I spent my first seven years there before moving to Norway, where I have resided since. My educational journey in design began with media and communication studies at Åssiden Upper Secondary School, followed by a year of exploring psychology at the University of Oslo. In 2022, I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Visual Communication from the University of South-Eastern Norway and immediately embarked on my professional career as a designer.

With over three years of experience as a UI/UX designer, I greatly value my diverse educational background. This background has provided me with a solid theoretical foundation, offering valuable insights into strategic design, visual identity, and user behaviour and psychology – all essential elements of my design practice.

Outside of work, travel photography is a deep passion of mine and serves as my primary creative outlet alongside design. I'm drawn to visual storytelling and the ability to capture fleeting moments. For me, traveling and photography go hand in hand. As a designer, I value exploring and learning from the world to broaden my horizons and perspectives. Immersing myself in different cultures and environments fuels both my creativity and personal growth.

In addition to my full-time design role, I pursue freelance photography, capturing weddings and other exciting opportunities that come my way. This allows me to transform a personal passion into a small but rewarding business, with the ambition to gradually expand it into a more established venture.
